Celebrities Who Support Literacy

A couple of internet websites have listed the following celebrities, along with their contact information, as being interested in education, literacy, and/or dyslexia. Each of these celebrities received a copy of Let's End Our Literacy Crisis, Revised Edition, a five-page synopsis of the book, and a one-page cover letter asking for a short endorsement—along with two suggested endorsements or a place to write their own. None of them have replied. As you no doubt know, celebrities have "screeners" who open their mail which is not from a known sender so that the celebrities do not have to waste their time on something that might turn out to be "junk mail." Evidently the screeners for each of these celebrities were too busy to read the one-page cover letter or the five-page synopsis or were too afraid their respective celebrities might criticize them for giving them mail that they might not want to see.

Celebrities are too busy and too self-important to spend time on something that they do not freely choose to spend time on or to respond to someone that they do not know personally. If you have carefully and honestly read the home page of this website and enough of the proofs on the linked pages in the side-bar to understand the problem and its solution, you will want to help solve the problem. If you know, personally, any of the celebrities listed below—or if you know someone who knows one of them personally—please spend a few minutes on the following. For the sake of hundreds of millions of English functional illiterates around the world (including more than 93 million in the U.S. alone) and for the sake of every U.S. adult (including yourself) who has to spend an average of more than $5000 each year because of the mistakes and inabilities of functional illiterates and for the welfare of our nation, urge these celebrities to examine this website if they, indeed, have an honest interest in education, literacy, or dyslexia, rather than merely claiming an interest in these subjects for publicity purposes.
